As we head into the busiest time of year, let's make sure your brand and website are ready to attract and engage holiday shoppers. Whether you're aiming for a brand refresh, a website tune-up, or seasonal touches that reflect your unique business vibe, here's how I would go about maximizing your potential this holiday season.

Holiday brand refresh
1.Branding: Add a seasonal touch
- Adjust your branding and photography just enough to reflect the holiday season while staying true to your core brand values. You can still stay on-brand while swapping out colors in your social media graphics, using a seasonal logo variation, or incorporating holiday elements in your website banners and photos. You can be subtle but still encompass the spirit of the season with small design touches.
- Keep your brand in focus! Try adding colors that complement your existing palette, or if hand-drawn illustrations are your thing, stick with your original style while adding a few fun, on-brand touches. It’s all about keeping the vibe consistent.
2. Website Tune-up
- Showcase special offerings: Create graphics and swap out website banners to feature any seasonal products, limited editions, or holiday deals. This not only highlights what’s special but draws attention to limited offerings customers won’t want to miss! Make it easy for them to hit that checkout button or find what they came for. Most people want to know what you're bestsellers are for effortless gifting.
- Mobile-friendly focus: A majority of shoppers will be browsing on mobile, so make sure your website is optimized for a seamless mobile experience, especially with any seasonal updates. Always check your mobile site to make sure everything flows just as nicely as on desktop.
3. Storytelling!
- Update your copy: Refresh your About Me page and social content for a seasonal touch. Highlight what makes your brand unique during the holidays, sharing stories behind your products and why they’re perfect gifts.
- For social media, focus on engaging posts like gift guides, behind-the-scenes peeks, and reflections that showcase your brand’s personality and holiday spirit. Keep it warm and conversational to draw customers into your story. Utilize posting on your stories throughout the holiday season with direct links.
